Mailock is a secure email service that confirms the recipient’s identity before a message can be read, letting advisers and their firms exchange confidential information through ordinary email. Developed by Beyond Encryption, it answers a familiar problem: email is the channel clients use, but was never built to carry sensitive data safely. In an advice firm the everyday users are advisers, paraplanners and administrators. The same service is used at scale by product providers, insurers and pension schemes, so many advisers receive Mailock messages from providers as well as sending their own.
